A little bit about Alex:

I was born in Los Angeles, California and moved to Arizona in 1995. In 2002 joined the Army as a combat medic and was assigned to 3rd Infantry Division, 3rd Brigade, 1st of the 15th Infantry Battalion. During the invasion of Iraq in 2003 I was assigned to Headquarters Company. During my second tour to Iraq in 2005, I was the medic for the reconnaissance scouts and sniper section of the Battalion. During my last tour to Iraq 2007-2008, I was Sergeant and the senior line medic for the 56th Military Police Company out of Williams Field Airport in Mesa AZ.

I attended Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, Arizona and received my Associates of Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2010. In 2016 I received my Bachelors in Healthcare Administration from Pima Medical Institute. I am currently reenrolled at Grand Canyon University for a Master in Healthcare Administration. I have taken several continuing educations course Mulligan mobilization techniques, trigger point/positional/myofascial release, Kinesio taping certification, ASTYM certification, and a 10-month Orthopedic Specialization for Physical Therapist Assistant from Next-Gen Institute.

My wife’s name is Evelyn and I have 2 children Noah and Sophia. I love spending time with my family, the outdoors, practicing Brazilian Ju Jitsu (my wife and kids do it as well), and trying to learn how to jump rope (like a boxer).
