Ashley Christensen PT, DPTAshley Christensen, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Ashley graduated her Doctorate of Physical Therapy program from Regis University in 2009 where she was honored with the Outstanding Student Research Group Award. She graduated with honors from New Mexico State University with a degree in Biochemistry. Ashley enjoys working with all populations in orthopedic and neurological populations and has developed a reputation for geriatric therapy. She works closely on reducing impairments in balance, strength, and joint mobility through a combination of manual therapy and movement correction to return patients to their prior level of function. Ashley has taken several continuing education courses. She specializes in Graston soft tissue mobilization, manual therapy, and PRI techniques. When not at work, Ashley enjoys riding horses, camping, exercise  and rocking out with her kids, Owen, Cora, and Jude!

 

 

Eric Christensen PT, DPTEric Christensen, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Eric graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy program from Regis University in 2009 where he published a journal article on the effect of whiplash on the cross-sectional area of the muscles surrounding the throat as well as presenting at multiple conferences. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Exercise Science and a focus in Sports Medicine. In practice, Eric enjoys working with all populations of patients in the orthopedic and neurological field. He has specialized in custom orthotic prescription and casting, vestibular reprogramming, and manual therapy. In his practice, Eric takes a developmental approach to rehabilitation utilizing the Selective Functional Movement Assessment. He uses functional movement patterning and manual therapy to return patients to prior levels of function. When not at work Eric enjoys reading, camping, hiking, skiing, and spending time with his family (Owen, Cora, Jude  and Ashley)!

 

Jake Kelso – Doctor of Physical Therapy

Jake earned his Doctorate from Chapman University in 2017 and Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University in 2012. While in graduate school, Jake took several extracurricular courses to supplement his learning in scoliosis management, concussion identification, advanced therapy for Parkinson’s Disease, Graston technique, and is a certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant. Jake utilizes the Selective Functional Movement Assessment to guide his evaluations and treatments to not only identify the source of the pain, but the root cause as well. When not working, Jake enjoys weight and circuit training at the gym, team activities, watching Arizona sports teams, and road tripping.

 

 

 

 

 

Savannah

Savannah Torrez – Doctor of Physical Therapy

Savannah earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ in 2015. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from New Mexico State University. She has experience in orthopedics, post-op rehab, spine care, and fascial abrasion techniques. She is trained in dry needling, Graston technique, and much more! Savannah loves working with all types of patients, but her passion is working with recovering athletes to get them back to the sport they love. Outside of work, she loves staying active, going to sporting/music events and volunteering with animals.

 

 

 

 

 

Lindsay Sebastian, Doctor of Physical Therapy 

Lindsay earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University in May of 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. While at Creighton, Lindsay worked in a wide variety of clinical settings from ICU, acute care, aquatics, sports therapy, neurologic conditions, and orthopedics. She is currently trained in dry needling, techniques with IASTM (Graston etc) , joint mobilizations and more. Lindsay is passionate about helping individuals of all ages achieve their goals and return them to activities that may have been previously limited by pain. When away from the clinic, Lindsay loves playing and watching sports, especially her Chicago Cubs. Lindsay also enjoys hiking, going to the gym, and spending time with her family and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Marleny Rothans (Mar-Lenny, like Lenny KRavitz) – Front Office/ Flyby Coordinator

Marleny is a native Arizonan who enjoys coffee, road trips, and serving at her church. Although she has lived in the East Valley for most of her life, she is still considered a Navy brat and has also lived in Nevada and California.

The highlight of Marleny’s summer is always teaching Sunday school for K-2nd grade; she also serves as a youth leader for her junior high ministry every school year. Marleny also developed a passion for reading and writing at a young age and is currently pursuing a BA in journalism, with minors in business and marketing. She still makes time to sharpen her reading and writing skills, as one of her life goals is to publish children’s books and write worship music. In her free time, Marleny can be found hiking, listening to audiobooks, or rewatching her favorite movie, Top Gun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jason Titchenal-Exercise Specialist

Jason grew up in Orange County California and attended college at Cal State University San Marcos for 2 years before moving to Arizona in 2010 and finishing his undergraduate schooling at Arizona State University, earning a B.S. in Kinesiology. He ultimately wants to further his education and reach his career goal of becoming a Physical Therapist. He enjoys playing hockey and has done so for the past 15 years. In his free time he enjoys working out, playing sports, hiking and spending time with friends.

 

 

 

 

 

Cris

Cris Gonzalez- Exercise Specialist

Cris grew up here in Mesa and loves physical therapy. He loves seeing the progress that people make in therapy. Ultimately his dream is to go to physical therapy school.
