Ashley Christensen, PT, DPT graduated her Doctorate of Physical Therapy program from Regis University in 2009 where she was honored with the Outstanding Student Research Group Award. She graduated with honors from New Mexico State University with a degree in Biochemistry. Ashley enjoys working with all populations in orthopedic and neurological populations and has developed a reputation for geriatric therapy. She works closely on reducing impairments in balance, strength, and joint mobility through a combination of manual therapy and movement correction to return patients to their prior level of function. Ashley has taken several continuing education courses. She specializes in Graston soft tissue mobilization, manual therapy, and PRI techniques. When not at work, Ashley enjoys riding horses, camping, exercise and playing with her two dogs, Chip and Eevee. Ashley is currently enjoying her new baby boy Owen!
Eric Christensen, PT, DPT graduated his Doctorate of Physical Therapy program from Regis University in 2009 where he published a journal article on the effect of whiplash on the cross-sectional area of the muscles surrounding the throat as well as presenting at multiple conferences. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Exercise Science and a focus in Sports Medicine. In practice, Eric enjoys working with all populations of patients in the orthopedic and neurological field. He has specialized in custom orthotic prescription and casting, vestibular reprogramming, and manual therapy. In his practice, Eric takes a developmental approach to rehabilitation utilizing the Selective Functional Movement Assessment. He uses functional movement patterning and manual therapy to return patients to prior levels of function. When not at work Eric enjoys reading, camping, hiking, skiing, and spending time with his family (Chip, Eevee, Owen and Ashley)!
Kyle Marble – Exercise Specialist has worked as a physical therapy aide/front office coordinator since graduating high school in 2009. Following high school, Kyle has attended Maricopa Community College where he is working towards a fire science degree. To date, he has maintained a 3.6 G.P.A. while carrying a full course load and full work week. When not at work, Kyle enjoys sports and spending time with friends. He recently passed his national E.M.T certification and looks forward to beginning his career as an E.M.T!
Shannon graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
Throughout college she worked in pain management and physical therapy offices. After graduation Shannon worked in Australia as a nanny for a year. Now that she is back she looks forward to expanding her education in the medical field. When not at work, Shannon likes hiking, cooking, photography, and spending time with friends.
Sarah McGrain-Exercise Specialist
Sarah works as a part-time physical therapy
technician as she prepares to attend Physician Assistant school. She is
transitioning from a career in writing and public relations, where her clients
have included St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and Susan G. Komen for
the Cure, Phoenix Affiliate. When she’s lucky enough to find free time, Sarah
enjoys cooking, hiking, running, camping, traveling and being a mommy to her
eight-year-old daughter, Bella.
